Adobe Podcast

Tool Summary #

Adobe Podcast is a new, web-based audio editing program that uses AI to transcribe the narration in your podcast. You can edit podcast audio directly via the transcription rather than having to listen to it over and over again. There are also tools to enhance voice audio quality.

Quick Facts #

  • Price: Free, but more tools are available through the paid Adobe Podcast Premium Plan
  • Platforms: Available on a computer using Google Chrome
  • Recommended For: Beginners
  • Where to Access: podcast.adobe.com

Things to Know #

Adobe Podcast Studio will transcribe your audio, and allow you to edit the transcription in place of the audio. You can record in the program, or upload a prerecorded audio file.

Adobe Podcast Mic Check will run a test and tell you if you need to adjust your distance to the microphone, the gain, background noise, or echo. It even provides links to online guides on how to make the adjustments based off different computer mics.

The site has a library of free music, as well as templates for both audio and cover art graphics.
