Things to Know #

Piktochart allows you to create timelines as well as charts and maps where you can add or import data. The charts and maps can display information or move when you drag your mouse across them. Additionally, you can access the Unsplash Image Library directly in Piktochart or upload your own images. As with other infographic tools, you can duplicate the page you’re working on, lock images or text so that you don’t accidentally move them, and add images to fill different frames (for example, a circle or a heart). One unique thing about Piktochart is that it provides color schemes for you to use and allows you to create your own. Also, you can open a preview of your visual in your browser to see what it would look like if you clicked a link to it. The downsides to Piktochart are that it only allows you to create 5 projects with a free account, and it does not have as many animated or moving elements as Canva, another design tool.
