Tool Summary #
Qualtrics is an online survey platform used to create, distribute, and store surveys and the collected data. It generally features more depth and complexity than other online survey tools. It is a powerful data collection tool, and for that reason, it is often used by UMW for research, or when an elaborate survey setup is needed.

Things to Know #
Qualtrics offers advanced survey instruments that are especially useful for research, such as the ability to create a custom logic flow between questions or to randomize question order for each participant. There are several question types that Qualtrics features for use, such as matrix tables, text entry, graphical sliders, and more.
Survey data collected in Qualtrics can be transferred to spreadsheet tools like SPSS or Excel. Custom timeframes for taking the survey and metadata collection can also be set up.
