  • Website 2: Electric Boogaloo

On my main site (https://acfolio.org/), I have a plugin that allows me to have an interactive portfolio, where pieces I’ve uploaded can be opened and viewed in more detail in a shadowbox. It also allows me to categorize my art by type (digital, traditional, animation) or by series when it comes to my collections like the Tarot Series, or my self portraits.

The plugin I used to do this is called Visual Portfolio. I found it when I was attempting (and failing) to get my site to display my portfolio the way I wanted last semester, and it has pretty much stuck since.

I’m really looking forward to learning more about the 3D Design appointments, but I’m also excited about website appointments.

  • Figuring it Out

The biggest part of my customization on here (I’m focusing on my subdomain for these assignments because my main domain is pretty much fully customized) has been the installation of a new theme (Go) and changing my color scheme.

Buttons and menus are NOT simple and easy to set up in Word Press, despite what the website wants us to think. Despite these struggles, I did manage to figure it out. Yippee!

My most recently watched YouTube video was How Liberty Dies: The Politics of Star Wars by Arken the Amerikan. I thought it was pretty interesting, and I spend pretty much all my time thinking about Star Wars, so I personally can’t complain about an hour plus of Star Wars content.
