Hooray!! I completed my first-ever mini-workshop and I think it was a great success! I hope everyone now has some new useful tools they can use in their future digital projects. This was such a fun workshop, and I’m so glad I was able to do it. 🙂

(I actually uploaded my advertisement to GIPHY so I could get the animated aspects here ✨✨) UPDATE: Giphy is being MEAN and not letting me embed my gif

  • Introducing the new DKC… the ADC

I made two versions for this video, a version with sound and interviews & a version with no sound and no interviews! (the one with no sound is for the ADC’s smart TVs of course.)

The process of making these videos was a lot of fun, and I loved being able to have the creative freedom to make a video project like this. I see everyone took very different routes for their own videos but my main inspiration was making a parody video of the original DKC introduction video that we all practiced earlier in the semester.

The biggest road bump that occurred in the process of making these two videos was that my original interview shots and audio were very poor quality, so I had to redo all the interview shots. I recorded with a camera that had very strange video settings and it made everything look horrible. 🙁

Otherwise, this was a very fun project and I hope you enjoy my videos!

images animations and effects were all from the CapCut free library

audio is called Bike Rides by The Green Orbs

    Here’s the sound version:

    And here’s the no-sound version:

  • First blog post

Today I learned how to customize my website in WordPress. I successfully added a new theme and created home, about, and blog pages. Something new I learned about WordPress was…well everything because I haven’t used WordPress ever. I did learn how to edit each of my pages and how to customize my website.

Apart from my website, I will share my most watched YouTube video. I love this video because it helps me focus when I am studying and I think other student’s might also like this method! “Pomodoro Timers” allow me to be effective when studying because they consist of working periods and breaks. Whether I am working on a digital project, doing homework, or writing a paper the relaxing music, Pomodoro Timer, and cute cats help me get my work done effectively.
